Bet Types at Licensed Serbian Betting Sites: What Each One Means

A market is simply which outcome within an event you are betting on. Knowing the usual ones is what takes you past backing a winner.

The result markets

The classic bet: home win, draw or away win — 1 X 2. Serbian tickets label it `konačan ishod`. Double chance — `dupla šansa` — covers two of the three at a shorter price. In sports without a draw the same bet is a moneyline.

Hendikep: levelling an uneven match

A handicap hands one side a notional lead so a one-sided match still has a price worth taking. The European three-way handicap keeps a draw in play, while the Asian version removes it and can split the stake over two lines.

Over and under

Back the combined total, whatever the sport counts, to end above or below the operator's line. The winner is irrelevant to it.

Oba tima daju gol, and the rest

`Oba tima daju gol` — both teams to score — pays when each side finds the net. Specials cover first goalscorer, cards, corners and the rest of what happens inside a match.

Long-term bets

An outright backs a result decided weeks or months out — the league winner, the top scorer. Your money is committed until it resolves, which is what to weigh first.

Which market fits which match

  • A close fixture: the result market is where the price is honest.
  • A big favourite at 1.15 is not really a bet; a handicap or a total expresses the same view at a usable price.
  • No opinion on who wins? Totals and BTTS let you bet how the match will go rather than who takes it.
  • An opinion about a player rather than a side is what props exist for.

The margin is not the same across markets: the main result market on a big match is usually the sharpest, and the deeper a special goes the wider the price gets. Betting the obscure market because it is interesting costs more than it looks.

Begin with the result markets and add the rest as they become familiar. On a lopsided fixture a handicap or a total is usually a better price than the favourite itself.

Several markets across several matches make an accumulator, and reading the prices is in our odds guide. Betting is for adults only (18+).
